foundations for the future
At Sustain, our post-residential programs are designed to build the framework for adolescents to successful and fulfilling life beyond treatment – and that includes so much more than sustainable sobriety and absence of substances. The connections, real-life experiences, and skills that adolescents learn outside of residential treatment in partial hospitalization or outpatient care before they go back to the real world full time facilitate a smooth transition into successfully continuing recovery on their own, whenever your family is ready.
Some of the skills we introduce and focus on outside of therapeutic treatment include:
- Grocery Shopping
- Budgeting
- Time Management
- Medication Management
- Medical & Therapy Appt. Facilitation
- Resume Building
- Job Searches
- Cooking
- Personal Hygiene
- Daily Chore Management
- And More
in their own words
The people at Sustain Recovery are truly passionate about their work. They put all their love, energy and spiritual strength into it. They continue to support me today as I continue my ongoing journey in my personal recovery. I now have over a year of sobriety, my own apartment, a job, true friends and a support network that is always available to me. Although all that stuff is great, what matters most today is that I love myself and have the ability to love others. Thank you to all who had a hand and heart in Sustain Recovery”
